"MINNEAPOLIS-BASED SYNTHPOP DUO DUCK DUCK PUNCH RELEASE

Duck Duck Punch has released "RGB," opening track to upcoming debut album Human Chemistry. As synthpop affectionados and general connoisseurs of all things 1980s-analog, "RGB" sounds like a modern mesh of Depeche Mode and a-ha—infused with a visual nod to the classic Robert Palmer "girly" video.

"The video isn't just about shock value or cheap thrills," explains primary songwriter Bryan Rudell, "it's a song about our cultural tendencies to have profound life-experiences through a digital screen. The song itself is about escaping reality for cheap thrills and artificial comforts."

"By exploring the collisions between the collective consciousness & the individual psyche, Human Chemistry became a cynical document of the human condition. Carried by themes of trauma, desire, disease, and escapism, Duck Duck Punch added a little grit to the classic, dance-driven synthpop formula.

Duck Duck Punch is set to release their first full-length album on January 15th under their moniker Truth No. label."
